The final performance of the classic Lerner & Loew musical "Camelot" will be presented at the Waage Fine Arts Theatre on the campus of Minnesota State Community & Technical College-Fergus Falls, starting at 7:30 p.m. today (Sunday). This Tuesday, Nov. 11, the ITOW Veterans Museum will celebrate Veterans' Day by offering area residents the opportunity to tour all museum exhibits free of charge. The ITOW Veterans Museum is located at 805 West Main in Perham and is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, 1-4 p.m.

Minneapolis singer-songwriter Tim Mahoney kicks off the Historic Holmes Theatre's new "Edge" series on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. This former front man for high energy, pop rock group Blue Meenies has been compared to Bryan Adams, Matchbox 20, Howie Day and more. Entertainer Mylo Hatzenbuhler (aka Clyde Bauman) will perform at the Ulen-Hitterdal Top Hat Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. Unique entertainer Clyde Bauman portrays the character "Mylo Hatzenbuhler," a fictional farmboy and music superstar who lives on a fictional farm near Strasburg, N.D., with his fictional wife and family.  Tickets are available at the Ulen-Hitterdal School office at a cost of $15 for adults and $10 for students of all ages.  Call 218-596-8853 for further information.

The second annual Mother-Son Football Frenzy gives boys (ages 2-12) and their moms, aunts, grandmothers or special friends an opportunity to share the love of football. Held in the Holmes Ballroom on Sunday, Nov. 16, from noon to 2 p.m., this casual afternoon event offers the game on the big screen, football drills led by DLHS Laker football players, classic football snacks and photo opportunities including a starting line-up called by the "Voice of the Lakers," Andy Lia.  The cost is $10 for moms and $5 for boys. The Fifth Annual Holmes Art Show takes place at the Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center's Holmes Ballroom from Friday through Sunday, Nov. 20-23. The show gives area art patrons the opportunity to take in work by some of the area's best artists. More than 20 artists will display paintings, sculpture, pottery, glasswork, collage and other fine arts. It will run from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event is free and open to the public. The Lakes Area Community Concert Band puts on a free concert on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m., in the Historic Holmes Theatre. The Lakes Area Community Concert Band provides an opportunity for area instrumentalists to play and perform, while serving the lakes area as a provider of musical entertainment and community involvement.

A new exhibit about Butler Township, created specifically for Butler's recent 125th anniversary celebration, is now on display at the History Museum of East Otter Tail County in Perham. Photographs and stories about the township will be on display through the end of the year.
