Former Rapid Care owner agrees to stop practicing medicine in Minnesota; state investigating claims
A Fargo doctor who recently lost his North Dakota medical license has voluntarily surrendered his practice privileges in Minnesota.
Dr. Rodney Lee, who operated five clinics in North Dakota and Minnesota (including one in Detroit Lakes) signed a stipulation to stop practicing medicine pending the outcome of a Minnesota investigation.
A complaint filed in Minnesota accuses Lee of unethical and unprofessional conduct, improperly prescribing narcotics and improperly maintaining medical records.
His North Dakota license was revoked after he was accused of sloppy handling of drugs and overbilling the Medicaid program.
