Foundation offers fact-finding trip to Jordan, Syria
Before this day is over, 2,000 more Iraqis will have abandoned their homes, fled their country and left everything familiar behind them.
The non-profit Middle East Fellowship is leading a fact-finding delegation to explore on-the-ground efforts to help Iraqi refugees.
May 16-26, the Middle East Fellowship will visit Jordan and Syria to see how these efforts -- and the refugees whose lives they change -- can be supported.
Only $1,200, the cost includes private accommodations in western-style hotels, all meals, ground transportation, translators and local guides. Iraqi refugees will participate in the delegations to give westerners a deeper look at the impact of the US-led invasion.
