Gordon said that accidents with that many fatalities are rare, but have occurred in the county.
"It's been a few years," Gordon said. He said that a triple fatality accident took place nearly eight years ago. There have been accidents that have resulted in two deaths within the past year in Becker County.
Multiple fatalities that take away several members of a family unfortunately come during a time when families are together, Gordon said.
"You see these types of fatalities among family during holiday and celebration events," Gordon said.
