Frazee Fall Festival this Saturday
The fourth annual Frazee Fall Festival is slated for Saturday, Sept. 25 providing area residents an opportunity to celebrate fall with various activities including the community-wide rummage sale which runs all day during the fall festival. Don't forget to stop and shop at downtown merchants for numerous specials.
Shop for more treasures from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. at the Vendors Show, which has been relocated to Main Ave., across from United Community Bank. Vendors will showcase a variety of crafts, antiques, art, produce and more. Info: Jolene at 850-0126.
The Tour de Leaves race/walk, which includes a 12K cross-country run or a 5K walk that takes participants through rolling hills, pasture, woods, meadows and streams starts at 9 a.m. Registration is at 8 in front of the Frazee Fire Station located on Main Avenue. There is a participation fee of $15. Frazee Fall Fest line-up this year. George and Becky's On the Corner is hosting a bean bag tournament at 2 p.m. Registration will start at 1:30 p.m.
At 2 p.m. the fourth annual Tour de Deck Texas Hold 'Em Tournament begins at the Frazee VFW. Those interested in playing in the free tournament should register between 12:30-1:30 p.m. the day of the event.
Register at 6 p.m. for the walking tour of Frazee saloons starting at Frazee VFW. The Tavern Tour begins at 6:30 p.m. There will be a charge of $5 per person to benefit Frazee Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary. The two laps touring three bars will end with the Miller Lite Girls for prizes and fun.
Following the tour, the VFW will host music by the Hat Field Bay Band at 8 p.m.
