Frazee Girls B-Ball - Lady Hornets buzz Henning
The Frazee Lady Hornet girls' basketball team jumped out to a quick start and never looked back, as they cruised to a 74-44 victory over Henning Friday night.
Frazee opened the game with a 12-2 run and Henning never recovered in battle between the two Hornet teams.
Alexis Tappe poured in 14 of her game-high 29 points in the first half as Frazee led at the half 39-23.
Frazee continued their solid play in the second half as every player that dressed saw some game action.
"This is a good win for us as after a really good week of practice," head coach Dave Conzemius said. "We shot the ball much better than we had our last two games and we had a very balanced effort tonight."
Tappe added six rebounds, five steals and four assists to go with her 29 points. Kennady Barlund had a career-high 12 points to go with seven rebounds, Ashley Bachmann had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Josi Tappe chipped in with 10 points off the bench.
Frazee is back in action Dec.27-29 at the Walker Christmas Tournament.
