Frazee man charged with theft from Wal-Mart
DETROIT LAKES - Terrance Walter Allen Sampson, 26, of 204 Oak Street, Frazee has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony theft of property -- $500 to $2,500.
As an employee at Wal-Mart at various times in 2005, 2006 and 2007 he allegedly stole a number of items, including an iPod, three knives, magazines and a comforter, more than 30 items in all, valued at a total of about $1,600, according to court records.
He allegedly admitted to a Detroit Lakes police officer that he had taken the items to help provide for his family.
District Judge Lisa Borgen issued a summons on Thursday for him to appear in court Feb. 25.
