Frazee man in court for violating protection order
A Frazee man made his first appearance Monday in Becker County District Court on a felony count of domestic abuse-violating an order for protection two times or more within 10 years of a previous conviction.
Jeremiah Richard Dahring, 26, of 515 E. Main Ave. Lot 7, Frazee, allegedly contacted the friend of a woman with whom he was forbidden to have any contact, direct or indirect, as the result of an order for protection that was still in effect through Sept. 25 of next year.
According to the criminal complaint, Dahring texted and phoned the woman's friend multiple times, saying to "tell her I love her" and "I'm sorry."
Dahring was already facing charges for alleged OFP violations that occurred on Oct. 21 and Oct. 27, reportedly involving the same victim.
He is currently in custody at the Becker County Jail awaiting his next court appearance, at a Jan. 7 omnibus hearing. His bail has been set at $10,000.
