Frazee man injured in Highway 87 crash
A Frazee man was injured Wednesday evening after his pickup truck clipped the rear end of a car parked on the shoulder of Highway 87, went into the ditch, and rolled.
The 1998 Chevrolet pickup was driven by Chad A. Englehart, 31, who suffered non life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol. He was transported by St. Mary's Ambulance to St. Mary's Innovis Hospital in Detroit Lakes.
The pickup clipped a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville that was stopped on the eastbound shoulder of Highway 87. The car was driven by Michael S. Kohler, 62, of Frazee, who suffered no apparent injuries.
Frazee rescue and Frazee firefighters assisted at the scene, as did the Becker County Sheriff's Department and the Frazee Police Department.
The pickup was towed from the scene. The crash was reported at 10 p.m. on dry two-lane blacktop at milepost 6 on Highway 87.
