Free Diabetes Expo bus available
The Lions International Districts 5M8 and 9 are offering the eighth annual bus trip to the American Diabetes Association's Diabetes Expo on Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Minneapolis Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Space is limited so reserve your seat early.
Transportation and admission to the expo is free to those riding the Lions sponsored bus. Pickup and drop-off sites are in Detroit Lakes, Frazee, Perham, New York Mills, Wadena, Staples, Fergus Falls, Parkers Prairie, Battle Lake, Sauk Center, St. Joseph and St. Cloud.
Sites are Anderson Bus Garage in Frazee at 4:40 a.m., Kmart in Detroit Lakes at 5 a.m., Shopko in Perham at 5:30 a.m., Cenex Station in New York Mills at 5:40 a.m., Los Jalapenos in Wadena at 6 a.m., and Staples Hospital at 6:30 a.m.
Return for the last stop is between 6-6:30 p.m. More information on the expo can be found at www.diabetes.org/minneapolisexpo.

There is a $20 refundable deposit. Make checks payable to Lions District 5M9 Diabetes Acct, and mail checks to above address.
The check will reserve your seat and will be returned to you upon boarding the bus only. Otherwise, it will be a donation to 5M9 Diabetes.
Note your intended pickup site in the memo area of the check.
