Garden Days coming soon to Perham, Fergus FAlls
Mark your calendars for the annual Garden Days in Otter Tail County. Both Garden Days are sponsored and hosted by the Otter Tail County Master Gardeners.
The East Otter Tail County Horticulture Day will be held Saturday, March 19, in the Perham High School. Cost will be $25, including five classroom sessions, handouts, lunch, vendor shopping, coffee and refreshments. Keynote speakers are Jodie Ramsay and Julie Schroer, co-owners for Jean's the Right Plant Place in Perham, speaking on "New & Underused Perennials." No pre-registration required. The West Otter Tail County Garden Day 2011 will be held Saturday, April 2, at Kennedy Secondary School, Fergus Falls. The keynote speaker is John Loegering, certified wildlife biologist and associate professor of wildlife ecology at the University of Minnesota, speaking on "Urban Wildlife: A Love/Hate relationship."
