Georgia Kondelis

Former Dilworth and Detroit Lakes resident Georgia Helen Kondelis, 55, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2009.

Georgia is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hirsch and father, George J. Kondelis.

Georgia leaves to continue her love for life her beloved sons, Joseph Hirsch and Taylor Dorian Kondelis; her mother, Mildred A. Kondelis; brothers, James J. and Michael C. Kondelis; sisters, Elizabeth A. Kondelis-Carlson and Mary M. Kondelis-Rossi; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Georgia started her career in the property management business with Dorian Luciani in 1978 in Alamo, Texas. Georgia also managed apartments in Corpus Christi and spent the last 23 years at Fawn Ridge Apartments in The Woodlands, Texas.

Georgia loved traveling, video poker, scrap booking, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, with the Rev. Vincent Nguyen of Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church officiating.

Final services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 in Sea Side Cemetery, Corpus Christi, Texas. In lieu of flowers Georgia's family would appreciate if you will make memorial contributions to the Georgia Kondelis Memorial Fund FBO: Taylor Kondelis, C/O: Wells Fargo Bank, 14325 Cedar Ave., Apple Valley, MN 55124.

Arrangements were entrusted to The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery in The Woodlands, Texas.
