Gina M. Thompson, 23, of White Earth, died Friday, December 3, 2010 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Mahnomen.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 in the White Earth Community Center, White Earth, with Mike Dahl officiating. Friends may call at the community center from 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 until the time of services on Wednesday.

Gina Marie Thompson was born to Bobbi Jo Thompson on September 18, 1987 in Detroit Lakes. She was raised and educated in White Earth, and graduated from Circle of Life School, White Earth, in 2006. She attended the White Earth Tribal College for two years and, at the time of her death, was employed with the food and beverage services at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen.

Gina enjoyed spending time with her son, cooking, powwows, dressing up, going out with her friends, time with her nieces and nephews and traveling in her car.

Survivors include her son, Isaih David Thompson of White Earth; her mother, Bobbi Jo Thompson (David Eischens) of White Earth; her fiancée, Dylan Magney of White Earth; brothers and sisters, Mitchell Thompson of Waubun, Becky Thompson of White Earth, Laura (John) Thompson of White Earth, Samantha (Jon) Fast Horse of White Earth, William Fast Horse of White Earth, Cheyenne (Charles) Fast Horse of White Earth, Justine Fast Horse of White Earth, Maureen Eischens of White Earth, David (Shawna) Eischens of Park Rapids, Eric (Candice) Eischens of Park Rapids and Tamara (Ben) Eischens of Park Rapids; grandfather, Maurice Jackson of Waubun and grandmother, Florence Eischens of Ponsford, MN.

Preceding her in death were her grandmother, Myrtle Thompson; grandfather, Eugene Eischens; uncles, Elmer "Sonny" Thompson and Alan Thompson; and aunts, Cheryl "DeeDee" Thompson, Carol Thomas and Sandy Thompson.
