Girls Golf: Winning streak reaches 24 meets

Although it took a while to get back on the course for the Detroit Lakes girls’ golf team, the same result happened.

For the 23rd and 24th consecutive time, the Lakers won a pair of meets, starting with the Minnewaska Invite last Friday after shooting a 332, with Alexandria a distant second with a 351.


Co-state champion senior Natalie Roth won top honors after shooting a five-over par 77, which was tied with Minnewaska’s Jena Janu.
