The wins lift the Lakers over .500 with a record of 7-6-4, while riding a wave of momentum into their last four games, where their opponents will be a combined 62-12-4.

But the Lakers took care business at home with a 4-3 overtime win over visiting Pequot Lakes, as forward Emily Seebold scored in the overtime period on the assist by Randa Larsen.

The game was close throughout, as Seebold also notched DL’s first goal in the second period to tie the game 1-1, with Larsen also assisting on the play.

The Patriots went back up 2-1 on a Courtney Kittock tally, but Hannah Rhodes tied the game on assists by Haileigh Wenger and Hailey Sonstegard.

DL had to make another comeback in the third period after Brittney Knox scored 5:59 into the frame, but it didn’t take Larsen a minute to even up the score 3-3 just 51 seconds later, with the assist going to Savanna Nolan.

DL goalie Veronica Badurek held the Lakers in the game in the first two periods after the Pats put up 37 shots on net.

The Lakers rebounded by outshooting Pequot Lakes 10-1 in the third. Badurek finished with 35 saves.

The Lakers throttled Morris/Benson 10-0 Tuesday, with results not available at press time.

The Lakers will finish the regular season against some of the best.

A huge Section 6-1A game will be Thursday in Alexandria (9-8-1) and then the Lakers will host East Grand Forks (19-1-0) Saturday.
