The band is named after the famous jazz arranger and trombonist who re-corded hits like "In the Mood," "Tuxedo Junction," "Chattanooga Choo-Choo," "Moonlight Serenade" and "Pennsylvania 6-5000."

The present version of the big band was formed in 1956, 12 years after Miller disappeared en route to play for American troops in Paris.

Tickets go on sale April 3 at 10 a.m. for $24, $26 the day of the show. For more information call (800) 882-4275.
