When Darlene Hilde-Rolle's sister first approached her about joining in her project to start up a family theater in Park Rapids, Darlene wasn't at all sure that she'd be able to do it.

"My sister was the performer -- like I always say, I was scared out of my bloomers," Darlene said of her fear of performing in front of a live audience.

It was only "through the grace of God" that she found the courage to get up on that stage and perform for the first time, she added.
