Grand Forks closes pedestrial bridges
GRAND FORKS - The city of Grand Forks said today that it has closed both the north and south pedestrian bridges to pedestrian crossing.
The bridge railings have been removed as a preventive measure for spring flooding, to allow water to flow across the bridges from the Red River, officials said in a release. The closure will remain in place until the floodwaters recede to a safe level.
