Grand Forks woman struck, robbed by masked men let into apartment by guest
GRAND FORKS -- Grand Forks Police said they are actively investigating a Tuesday night south-side apartment robbery involving two masked, possibly armed men who were let into the apartment by a male house guest.
The house guest, who fled the scene, has been positively identified, and police have descriptions of the two masked men, a news release said.
According to the news release:
The masked men were allowed into the apartment on the 1100 block of 13th Avenue South by the male house guest at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The armed men confronted the female apartment resident, demanded money and struck her with an object, then grabbed and left with cash.
Police said one of the masked men was about 6 feet tall with a thin build, the other about 5-foot-7 with a medium-to-stocky build.
