Grimsley wins Becker County Board District 2 race

Ben Grimsley has defeated Craig Fontaine, 59 percent to 40 percent, to become the newest Becker County commissioner.

Grimsley received 1,589 votes to Fontaine's 1,072 votes.

Grimsley will represent District 2, which consists of Detroit Lakes city wards 2 and 3.

"I'd like to thank the residents of District 2 for the confidence they've placed in me," Grimsley said. "I'm eager to get to work."

District 2 was created as part of the redistricting process.
