Music scholarship concert
The Detroit Lakes School Music Department presents a Scholarship Concert at 7 p.m. in the George Simpson Middle School Auditorium. Cost of the concert is $5 for adults and $3 for children in grades K-12 or $10 per immediate family. Proceeds from the concert will provide scholarship money to students who are pursuing degrees in music education. Performers include Doc & the Scrubs, Roosevelt 4th Grade Classes, Rossman 5th Grade Choir, Middle School 6th Grade Vocal Ensembles, Laker Singers and the Laker Jazz Band.

Sons of Norway
Sons of Norway, Vikingland Lodge No. 495, DL, meets at 6 p.m. with a chili dump in the DL Nutrition Center. Everyone is to bring a small container of chili to combine. The program will be Stuart Fankhanel speaking about recording family stories.
Area Admin Professionals
Area administrative professionals of the Detroit Lakes IAAP chapter meets at 5:30 p.m. in room F102 at MSCTC, Detroit Lakes. Brenda Houts, buyer with SJE Rhombus, will present "Time Management."
