Everyone is invited to a free Thanksgiving service and dinner in the Detroit Lakes Middle School. All food is provided by Community Alliance Church. The service is at 11 a.m., followed by the meal from noon to 12:45 p.m.
The Callaway Lions Club hosts turkey bingo at 7 p.m. in the Callaway Community Center.
Rising Sun Dancers
The Rising Sun Dancers host a dance from 2-4:30 p.m. in the Waubun Community Center. Roger McNeil will call the tips. Lunch will be served by the club. All dancers and spectators are welcome.
Color Guard breakfast
The Lake Region Color Guard fund-raiser breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon in the DL Legion Club. Suggested donation is $6.50.

Prairie Woods Chapter of the Izaak Walton League meets from 7-8:30 p.m. in the main floor meeting room at the library. Becker County Natural Resource Manager Marty Wiley will present on "A Forest Management Plan for Becker Co Tax Forfeited Lands." The public is urged to attend and learn Becker County's process for handling tax forfeited lands.
