The February MAC-NAPS distribution is from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, DL. Applications are available at St. Luke's Church. To qualify, you must be at least 60 years of age and meet the USDE income guidelines.
Death by Chocolate
A night of tantalizing treats and decadent desserts! The Detroit Lakes Women of Today host a Death by Chocolate membership night beginning at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Inn, DL. It is open to all women ages 18 and older who wish to get involved and help make a difference in our community. Membership specials and prizes for new members including a haircut and style, one hour massage and a hotel and casino package.

Friendly Squares dance
The Friendly Squares host a square dance in the Century School, Park Rapids. There will be plus workshop at 7:30 p.m., and mainstream dancing from 8-10. The caller is Roger McNeil, and Bernadette McNeil will cue rounds between tips. Potluck lunch furnished by club members. All square dancers and spectators are welcome.

Youth fishing derby
The Luke Gandrud Memorial Youth Fishing Derby is from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in Lake Ida. Ages 15 and under are welcome. Tackle and bait is provided free of charge. There will also be free hot dogs and pop on the ice.
PEO Chapter FG
P.E.O Chapter FG meets at 10 a.m. at Maplelag, with Mary Richards as hostess. Sue Eidenschink and Mary Frigstad will be assisting. Program will be presented by Judy Fankhanel. Dessert will be served.
"Contemplari" photographs and stained glass art by Robert J. Larson is on exhibit in the Spirit Room, 111 Broadway, Fargo, N.D., from Feb. 6-27, with a reception today from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Larson has designed over 200 stained glass windows for churches and homes in the area. A new digital camera awakened his latent interest in photography and he examines the landscape outside his window on Pickeral Lake.
Lake Eunice Evangelical Free Church hosts their Valentines Banquet at 5:30 p.m. Dan and Merilee Ottoson will put on a concert after the meal. There is no charge for this event, but please call 439-3255 and leave a message of how many guests will be with you.
