Tamarac Wildlife Refuge hosts a Wildlife Excursion at 10 a.m. Explore the refuge with a knowledgeable guide. Search for wildlife and learn about the cultural and natural history of Tamarac on this driving tour. Meet at the Chippewa Picnic Area on Cty Hwy 26 just east of the visitor center.

Tamarac Project NOAH Adventure is from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Learn how to turn your Tamarac wildlife sightings into a documented citizen science observation. Pancake breakfast, Shaw benefit
The Ulen Lions Club hosts a free-will donation pancake breakfast to benefit Carl and Susan Shaw from 9.m. to noon in the Ulen Event Center. Donations will help offset medical costs from Susan’s cancer and Carl’s stroke. Donations also accepted at Bell State Bank and Trust in Hawley.
Tamarac Refuge hosts Butterfly Kisses and Wetland Jewels at 2 p.m. Join John Weber, butterfly enthusiast and citizen scientist, for an intriguing look into the world of butterflies and dragonflies.
