Families Forever quilt show
The Families Forever Garden Quilt Show is from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 4020 4th St., Lake Park. The show is raising cancer awareness and scholarship money. There will be tea and treats, gardens and quilts. Admission is $7. Rain location is the American Legion in Lake Park.

Atlanta Church reunion
“Come Home to Atlanta” worship is at 11 a.m., with Pastor John Martinson leading worship in the Atlanta Lutheran Church, rural Ulen. If you want to sing in the choir, arrive around 10:30 to practice. A fellowship potluck dinner will follow worship.
St. Theodore Church, Ponsford/Pine Point, hosts a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for under 10 and under 6 are free.
Bugs and Creepy Crawlers
Tamarac Wildlife Refuge hosts Bugs and Creepy Crawlers: Adventures in Insect Sweeping at 2 p.m. Discover the strange world of insects found on the refuge that are a part of the food chain of a healthy ecosystem. We will work grass and brush with sweep nets to collect insects. View them up close with magnifiers and identify a few species. Meet at the Pine Lake Parking Area on County Hwy 29.
Color Guard breakfast
The Lake Region Veterans Color Guard fundraiser pancake/French toast breakfast is from 8 a.m. to noon in the DL American Legion Club. It is a suggested donation of $6.50.
