Monday, Feb. 3

LP-A High School pops concert

The Lake Park-Audubon High School Music Department will present its 2014 Pops Concert, “Don’t Stop the Music,” at 7:30 p.m. in the LPAHS gymnasium. Performers will include the junior and senior high choirs, Raider Jazz Band and Raider Pop Group, as well as special guest artists 2gether Productions, featuring Kathryn and Andy Karg. Free admission.

Overeaters Anonymous Detroit Lakes Serenity Group meets Tuesdays at noon in the second floor library of the First Lutheran Church.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Snowshoe hike

Join the Laurentian Lakes Chapter of the North Country National and Scenic Trail as they snowshoe from the CR-39 trailhead south along the Laurentian Divide to the State Hwy 113 trailhead. Meet at the CR-39 trailhead at 1 p.m. This trailhead is about 2 miles north of the Intersection of State Hwy 113 and Becker Co. Rd 37. Note: A ride back to the cars at the starting point will be provided. This is a relatively long snowshoe hike (4 miles) but it would be possible for people to do a shorter, out and back snowshoe trip if they wished. Youth fishing derby

The Luke Gandrud Memorial Youth Fishing Derby is from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Lake Ida. Tackle and bait will be provided. Free hot dogs and pop on the ice. It is open to ages 15 and under.

Sunday, Feb. 9

Pancake breakfast

The Callaway Lions host a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Callaway Community Center. It is a free-will offering.
