DEBWE elder day
DEBWE (Native American Culture Organization) is collaborating with Wisdom Steps to have an elder day at 1. Students will be drumming for the Elders, hearing stories and playing some bingo. It is potluck style, so come and check us out at 515 Washington Avenue next to the newspaper office.
Alpha Delta Kappa
Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa meets in the Holiday Inn, DL. A social time will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30. The program will be “Richville United Methodist Church Mission” with a business meeting after the program presentation.

Holy Rosary Fish fry
The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring Lenten Fish Fries on Fridays, March 7-April 11, from 5-7 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Parish Center. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for those under 12. All proceeds return to the community.
Frazee Fish fry
The Knights of Columbus Frazee Council 12581 annual Lenten fundraiser fish dinners are March 28 and April 11 from 5-7 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Adults are $8, kids (7-12) are $5 and 6 and under are free. Everyone is welcome.
‘The Sweethearts of Branson’
Join Lake Park Audubon Community for a trip to the Fargo Theater to see “The Sweethearts of Branson.” Denny Yeary and his wife Shelia Renee have been performing in Branson for over 15 years and now they are coming to Fargo. Fee is $35 per person. This includes ticket and transportation. We will be leaving Lake Park High School at 12:30 p.m., and the show starts at 2. Come along with the Lake Park Audubon Community Ed for a night of Las Vegas style illusion and laughs. Jared Sherlock, an award-winning illusionist and comic magician, is coming to the Top Hat Theater in Ulen on Saturday, May 3. Fee is $20 for adults and $15 for students. ECLA Cluster 7 gathering
All women of the ELCA are invited to attend the Cluster 7 Spring gathering on Saturday, April 26, at NeeGonNee Lutheran Church, rural Mahnomen. Registration is $10 and will be from 8:30 to 9 a.m., followed by a program and a noon luncheon, which is included in the registration fee. Battle of the Businesses Bowling Tournament

Lake Park-Audubon Community Ed hosts “It’s NOT my Imagination…It’s my Adrenals!” with instructor Amy Lundberg. You might be suffering from Adrenal Fatigue (Super Woman Syndrome) if you feel if you sat down to rest you would not be able to get back up again but you can’t fall asleep at night or stay asleep. Class is March 29 from 9–10:30 a.m. Class fee is $10.
Mosaic Garden Light
Lake Park-Audubon Community Ed hosts “Mosaic Garden Light” with instructor Becky Mitchell, The Glass Lady Studio. Class is March 29 from 10:30 a.m.–noon in the Glass Lady Studio, Lake Park. Class fee is $30.
Wagon Wheel Rug
Lake Park-Audubon Community Ed hosts “Wagon Wheel Rug” with instructor JoAnne Flom. This type of rug dates back to the early settlers. As they traveled across country the ladies used the 5th wheel on the carriage to make rugs for their new homes. In this class you’ll use hula hoops. Use your old jeans, t-shirts, bed sheets, towels or virtually any material to make a rug, chair pad or even coasters. Bring a sheet for the “spokes” and the material you will be using for weaving to class. Please bring a needle, thread and scissors to class also. Class is April 24 and May 1 from 6-8 p.m. Class fee is $15 and includes a hula hoop.
Cancer support group
Essentia Health St. Mary’s Cancer Support Group meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 5 pm. Please meet at the fireplace in the Clinic Lobby.
