Lakes Aviation and Wings Flight Training host a Lakes Country Fly-In and car show at the Perham Municipal Airport. A pancake breakfast is from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., aerobatic performance at 11:45, free airplane rides for kids from 9:30 to 11:30, and auto show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be food vendors, aviation exhibitors and more. The event is free.

Legion Auxiliary breakfast
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 15 hosts a pancake/French toast breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.in the DL Legion. A suggested donation of $6.50.

Movie at Tamarac
Come to Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge to watch ‘North America’ episode three: ‘Learn Young or Die.’ The film explores the extremes and wonders of North America’s mountains and forests. After the 50 minute film, stay to discover more about Tamarac’s wildlife survival secrets. Event takes place in the Visitor’s Center at 2 p.m.

Used Book Sale
Becker County Friends of the Library will be holding its annual used book sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Public Library. All books, DVDs and audiobooks for sale will be donated and proceeds will support the free programs hosted by the Library.

Niijii Radio Fund Drive
Community radio station KKWE, Niijii is holding a fund drive July 28-Aug. 2. A ‘Very Berry Social’ will be held July 31 from 3-8 p.m. and includes berry desserts, ice cream, hoop competitions, bouncy houses, door prizes and music.
