Hardy to perform at NYM Saturday
Renowned songwriter Jack Hardy will perform in New York Mills Saturday, Jan. 23rd at 7:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center.
Hardy may not be very well known in northwest Minnesota, but his lifetime of work is truly astonishing. His songs have been covered by artists such as Suzanne Vega, The Roches, Lucy Kaplansky and Anne Hills, among many others.
Known primarily as an accomplished writer, Hardy was the recipient of the 1997 Kate Wolf Memorial Award and may be the least-known subject of a tribute album ("Songs of Jack Hardy: Of the White Goddess").
Tickets for Saturday's show are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. To purchase, call 218-385-3339 or visit www.kulcher.org for more information about Hardy and the winter/spring concert series at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
