Former Detroit Lakes resident Harriet V. Torgerson-Still, 93, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008.
Harriet Vivian Lundeen was born to Charlie and Marie Lundeen on Sept. 14, 1914, in St. Paul. She was a riveter in San Diego during World War II. She owned "The Bluebird" cafe in Montana, and also in Las Vegas. She also worked for Nevada Power Company, and retired after 20 years of service.
Harriet was a fun-loving, elegant woman and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving Harriet are her son, Larry (Katie) Torgerson; one grandson; one great grandson; a sister, Mary Jane; and niece Carol Hanson (Gordy) of Detroit Lakes as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Edward Still; her parents, Charlie and Mary Lundeen; two brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 7, at Palm Mortuary-Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
