Hawley man faces DWI charge after ATV accident
After an ATV accident on Sunday outside of Hawley, Minn., the driver of the vehicle was charged with DWI, officials said Monday in a news release.
After Clay County deputies responded to the accident at 25650 110th Ave. S., John Bergseid was taken by helicopter to MeritCare in Fargo, according to a release from Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist.
A medical condition was not available for Bergseid, but he was taken to the hospital with potentially broken bones, according to the release.
Bergseid, 44, of rural Hawley, Minn., faces a charge of fourth-degree driving under the influence, Bergquist said in the release.
