High number of crashes, rollovers reported after winter storm leaves area

FARGO – More than 150 vehicles crashed or ran off the road and required a tow near here after a winter storm moved through the area, leaving behind icy conditions Monday and Tuesday.

One person was injured near Kindred on Tuesday afternoon when a semi and pickup collided on Highway 46.

North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Brian Niewind said the driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital but was not seriously injured.
