Highway 10: Eastbound lanes to be paved this week

Signal loop and light base installation continues this week at the Jackson Avenue, McKinley Avenue and Washington Avenue intersections.
Crews will be pouring the curb along Roosevelt Avenue this week. Motorists may encounter short-term shoulder closures, and should watch for concrete trucks and construction workers next to the driving lanes.
Washington Avenue north of Highway 10 is closed. During the closure, motorists will encounter a three-way stop at the intersection of Highway 10 and Washington Avenue.
Concrete paving and the installation of the new traffic signal, curb and gutter will take place during the closure. Motorists should follow the signed detour, and watch for trucks hauling northbound on Washington Avenue.

Kris Street between Highway 10 and Randolph Road is closed. Crews continue to pave eastbound Highway 10 and install the Kris Street traffic signal system. Motorists are being routed to Roosevelt Avenue, and should follow the signed detour.
