There will be some solid experienced players coming back for the Frazee boys’ basketball team, as it continues to build.

Senior Cory Wokasch will lead a strong frontcourt presence for the Hornets, as junior Matt Tangen will run the offense from the point guard position.

“Our strength will be our frontcourt, since we have multiple guys who have experience and should give us an advantage,” said Frazee head coach Jason Reierson. “We will start the season off without the services of Matt Tangen, though, which will put some strain on our backcourt, but they should gain invaluable experience for later in the season.”

Senior center Tanner Karger returns to Frazee from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton to give some good size in the paint.

“We have multiple juniors with varsity minutes who will help us this season, as well,” Reierson said. “Junior Brady Bellefeuille has developed a nice outside game to go with his inside game at post.”

Other players who will see time include juniors Austin Torma, Mat Daggett, Harley Ellingson-Wirth and Chance Willette.

“We will be playing a variety of defenses, mostly predicated on who we are playing,” Reierson said.

“We will have to be an opportunistic fast-break team, but mostly will try to grind it out in the half court.”
