Hot enough for ya? Weather service issues heat advisory; heat index could reach 110 degrees
GRAND FORKS - The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a heat advisory from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today for much of the Red River Valley in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.
High humidity combined with temperatures into the 90s will provide dangerous heat index readings of 100 to 110 degrees during the day, the weather service stated.
