Humor writing class in NYM
Have you ever wanted to write something funny, but weren’t sure where to begin?
The Continental Divide Folk School at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center will be hosting a special humor writing class on Wednesday, May 8 in the Cultural Center’s main gallery, starting at 7 p.m.
In this class, participants will learn from the work of some funny writers and begin to generate our own essays ideas.
Oh, and most importantly, there will be plenty of laughter.
The 90-minute class will be taught by Cultural Center artist-in-residence Elizabeth Tannen of New York City. It is free and open to the public. Call 218-385-3339 for more information, or visit the website at www.kulcher.org.
