Integrated blinkersystem legal for motorcycles, not recommended
Question: Are integrated blinker/tail lights legal in Minnesota for motorcycles. (Left half of brake light blinks when left blinker is on and vice versa for right side, eliminating separate blinkers.)
Answer: I am not aware of any MN law would prohibit such a system. I will, however, highly recommend that you do not use such a system. I feel this system will make it VERY difficult for other drivers to recognize your intention to turn.
Also other drivers may be confused (I know that is hard to believe.) as to whether you are signaling or braking.
