June R. Kaiser, 76, of Ogema, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1 at the new Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church at the intersection of Highway 59 and Becker County Road 14 in Callaway, with the Rev. Del Stohs officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes.
June Rose Kaiser was born to Henry and Elsie (Cooper) Strachan on June 29, 1934 in Bishop Stortford, England. She was united in marriage to Donald Kaiser June 29, 1957 in Bishop Stortford. They came to the United States and farmed in Callaway Township, rural Ogema.
June was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Ladies Aide and for many years, was the correspondent for the Trinity Lutheran L.W.M.L. in Ogema. She enjoyed gardening, pontoon rides, driving the tractor, feeding the young calves, scrap booking and word puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donald Kaiser of Ogema, three sons, David Kaiser of St. Paul, Steven (Vicki) Kaiser of Hutchinson, Minn., and Richard (Roxann) Kaiser of Cooper City, Fla.; two daughters, Rosemary Kaiser of Dallas, Texas, and Elaine (Duane) Scheff of Auburn, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers, Leonard Strachan and John (Margaret) Strachan, both in England.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Henry and Ronald; and two sisters, Winnie and Rose.
