Jury finds man guilty of criminal sexual conduct
A Waubun man will be sentenced March 25 on two counts of criminal sexual conduct after being found guilty of the charges Wednesday following a two-day jury trial.
Daniel Kevin Finn, 48, of 39544 Oxbow Road, Waubun, was accused of engaging in non-consensual sexual contact with two young adult males, ages 18 and 19, at his residence on March 29, 2008.
Finn had allegedly asked the two young men for help in loading furniture for a trip to Brainerd, then, when it became too late to make the trip, asked them to spend the night.
After furnishing them with alcohol, to the point of intoxication, he helped the two young men to bed.
While one of the young men was asleep, he reportedly began rubbing his back and legs, including inside his pants and in the groin area.
According to the complaint, the other young man was pretending to be asleep, and when Finn tried to engage in similar contact with him, he rolled over to prevent further contact.
