Comfort and Hospice care go hand in hand.

With that knowledge, a group of area quilters decided that they could assist in bringing comfort to Hospice patients as well. The Zion Lutheran Quilters on Franklin Lake near Pelican Rapids have donated nearly 100 handmade quilts and lap robes to Hospice of the Red River Valley since August 2008. The quilts consist of full size quilts like the one pictured, baby quilts and lap robes.
