Frazee Spring Arts Fest

Frazee Spring Arts Festival is from 7-9 p.m. in the Frazee High school in the Green Gym. The Festival will include K-12 Visual Art displays, 7-12th Vocal/instrumental Performances, Empty Bowl fundraiser project, Woods class pieces and FACS class quilts.  Running at the same time will be the Frazee Elementary Arts & Academics performances in the Frazee High School Commons. The K-12 Visual Art Displays can also be seen at Frazee High School Green gym from 8 a.m. to noon on April 17.

Spring style show

The Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa hosts a Spring Fashion Show at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes. The evening will feature fashions from Christopher Banks, Glik's, Maurice's and Nadines. It is a free-will offering event, and includes door prizes and lunch. The fundraiser proceeds will go to area education students. Everyone welcome.

Keri Noble

Singer-songwriter and pianist Keri Noble will perform selections from both her current self-titled CD and her previous release, "Fearless," at an 8 p.m. show on Friday, April 17 in the Historic Holmes Theatre, Detroit Lakes. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for students. Call the Historic Holmes Theatre Box Office at 218-844-SHOW or order online at www.dlccc.org. There will be a pre-party in the Holmes Ballroom starting at 6:30 p.m., featuring a cash bar and appetizers. There will also be an after-party following the show at Bleachers in Detroit Lakes.

Spring band concert

The Lakes Area Community Concert Band presents its Spring Concert, "Rhapsody in Blue," with special guest Paul Heisler, at 4 p.m. in the Historic Holmes Theatre, Detroit Lakes.
