Key Club to host Halloween party for kids
Being involved in helping the community has been irrefutably pleasurable for students in Key Club at DLHS to be a part of.
Key Club is an organization many high schools, locally and internationally, use to teach leadership among the members of the club. It is the high school version of Kiwanis International Club.
The Detroit Lakes Key Club has involved themselves in many events the past few years that include Relay for Life, highway cleanup, purchasing Christmas gifts for families in need and bell ringing for the Salvation Army.
Volunteers in Key Club invite you to come enjoy a Community Halloween Party this Sunday, Oct. 27, from 1-3 p.m. in the high school for kids up to grade 5.
Key Club is always ready and looking for new ways to serve the community. If any community group or families are looking for help on a project please contact Amy Lakin, Key Club advisor, online at email@example.com.
Another student led organization is Interact. Both organizations are devoted to help better ourselves, our school and our community.
Interact often partners with Key Club during larger events for the community. The rewards for these acts are nothing short of self-satisfaction. Interact is a great way for the students to get involved and closer with not only the community but also themselves.
