Frazee (9-10) led throughout the game, but could never deliver the knockout punch to put the game away.

The Lady Hornets used several different players to try and slow down Menahga's Tarah Cleveland, who came into the game averaging over 25 points per game.

Cleveland, a junior who just recently scored her 2,000 career point, still managed to score 21 points, but Frazee held the rest of the Lady Braves (10-7) players in check to help secure the victory.

"We rotated three different players on her to try and slow her down," Frazee head coach Dave Conzemius said. "Although she still put up good numbers, she really had to work for her points. McKinzie Tangen, Heidi Seeger and Taylor Tappe all did an outstanding job of containing her."

Frazee struggled from the perimeter shooting just 1-for-14 on three pointers but they shot 58.1% inside the 3-point line (18-for-31) consistently getting the ball inside for high percentage shots.

Alexis Tappe led the Lady Hornets with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. McKinzie Tangen added 10 points for Frazee.

Frazee is back in action on Thursday when they host Breckenridge.
