Lake Park man sentenced for bad checks
Kelly Albert Sansburn, 36, of 2019 Second St., Lake Park, has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony issuance of a dishonored check and possession of a counterfeit check.
According to court records:
On Jan. 11, 2008, he wrote a check for $4,448 to Seaberg Yamaha without sufficient funds in his account. Payment was never received.
On that charge, he was sentenced Wednesday by District Judge Peter Irvine to 17 months in prison, execution of sentence stayed five years.
He was placed on supervised probation for five years. He must serve 120 days in jail and pay a $500 fine plus court fees and $800 restitution.
