Lake Park man's bond set at $150,000
Bond has been set at $150,000 for a Lake Park man accused of criminal sexual conduct.
Stephen Roger Munson, 43, of 9003 Third St., Lake Park, has been charged in Becker County District court with two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one felony count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct -- multiple acts.
According to court records, a 14-year-old girl stayed overnight at Munson's house on March 5 and remained there in his care until the following day. The girl told her mother that they had sexual intercourse and that he had used a condom.
Evidence was collected at Munson's basement apartment that allegedly collaborated the girl's story.
The girl was interviewed by a county social worker and allegedly said that Munson had been having her engage in sexual intercourse with him for approximately the last two years.
Munson appeared Tuesday before Becker County District Judge Peter Irvine, who set bail or bond at $150,000, with conditions that include no contact with the alleged victim or her mother. His next court appearance is set for March 22.
