LAKER BOYS HOCKEY Warroad ends DL's season

The season came to an end for the Detroit Lakes hockey team, after an 8-2 loss in the Section 8-2A quarterfinals against Warroad.

The No. 6 seeded Lakers (10-15-0) had a tough time skating to the Warroad (13-11-1) net, after being outshot 42-20, as the Warriors piled on four goals in the first period.


The Lakers were able to score two goals in the second period, on a Casey Paskey tally 5:29 into the frame, while Nick LeTourneau added the second one.
