Laker girls' hockey blanked by Panthers

Despite putting 22 shots on net, the Detroit Lakes girls' hockey team was blanked by Park Rapids goalie Cassandra Thelen in a 1-0 loss on the road Tuesday.

The Lakers drop to 0-6-1, while the Panthers improve to 4-5-0.

The game's lone score came off of forward Morgan Kelly's stick 8:25 into the first period. Alle Bade gained the assist.

After allowing that goal, DL goalie Winona Goettel was perfect, finishing with 17 saves.
