Laker senior Holm to play football at U-Mary
BISMARCK, ND -- University of Mary head football coach Myron Schulz announced Feb. 3 the signings of 38 high school student-athletes who have committed to continue their education and play football at U-Mary.
Among those 38 was Detroit Lakes Laker senior Justin Holm. Holm, a 6-1, 230-pound defensive end, was a two-time all-conference selection who also earned all-section honors. He was a two-year captain at Detroit Lakes High School. He also earned honorable mention all-conference honors in wrestling. The son of Wallace Holm, Justin will major in criminology or psychology.
"Every recruiting class is exciting as we get to bring new members into the University of Mary family," said Schulz. "I enjoy the process of getting to know these student-athletes over the past year and we look forward to the day when they can step onto the field for the Marauders."
