LARL customers can now access grants database
Lake Agassiz Regional Library (LARL) was recently awarded a one-year subscription to the Minnesota Grantmakers Online Database by West Central Initiative.
LARL will evaluate use of the database for one year in five branch libraries located in Becker, Clay and Wilkin counties, three of the nine counties served by West Central Initiative.
Customers who use the Barnesville, Breckenridge, Detroit Lakes, Hawley and Moorhead libraries may access the web's largest and most comprehensive online database of Minnesota foundations and corporate grantmakers, with valuable information on more than 1,400 funding organizations and 100,000 grants.
"The Minnesota Grantmakers Online Database will provide our customers, nonprofit grantseekers, grantmakers and donors more access than the print guide had offered us in the past," shared Helen Goodin, LARL Collection Development Librarian.
Based on use of the during the trial period, LARL will decide whether to continue the subscription in future years.
