Last minute shot sinks DL
A last-second three point shot cost the Detroit Lakes boys' basketball team a second victory in its home holiday tournament Wednesday, as the visiting Zimmerman Thunder topped the Lakers 49-46.
It was a low-scoring night for the Lakers, who had been averaging about 70 points a game.
"They did a good job of slowing us down," said DL head coach Robb Flint. "They defended us well."
